CFD units and mutual aid were sent to the 800 block of Fifth Avenue for smoke inside a building. Franklin County 911 advised of a call from the establishment reporting smoke within the building.
Units arrived and began investigating the area, locating a malfunctioning light ballast as the source. Crews were able to secure the power and turn the scene over to building maintenance before returning to service.
