Tower 1 was alerted with the other 1st alarm assignment units to the 1900 block of Lincoln Way East in Fayetteville for a reported building fire. Engine 7-2 arrived on scene with smoke visible from the roof. Tower 1 arrived on scene and was assigned to access the roof. Crews located fire from a ventilation stack on the roof, assisting the Engine from 7 with attacking the fire.
Engine 1-1 was added to the assignment due to units not responding. Engine 1-1 arrived and staged for a short time until placed in service by Command 7. Tower 1 assisted on scene for about an hour before clearing the scene. 13
