Engine 1-1 assists on Fayetteville Garage Fire

Shortly after 12, Engine 1-1 was alerted as part of the first alarm assignment for a shed fire on Hunters Lane in Fayetteville Co. 7's first due. Initial reports en route advised of a working shed fire, impinging on a garage. Engine 7-2 (Fayetteville) arrived on scene with fire that extended into the garage. Engine 1-1 arrived as the 2nd due engine, picking up Engine 7-2's supply line and securing a water supply for the scene. The crew from Engine 1-1 proceeded to the scene and pulled an additional hose line to check for extension into the home. The crew then assisted with overhaul in the garage. Engine 1-1 remained on scene for just under an hour assisting, before being placed in service by Command 7.
