D Shift Trains with Borough Water Department on Vac Truck Operations

Members of D Shift met with the Borough of Chambersburg Water Department to review the operation and capabilities of their vacuum truck.

During the training, both departments discussed the truck’s capabilities and explored potential applications during technical rescue incidents. Understanding the equipment available throughout the Borough helps improve coordination between departments and identify additional resources that may be useful during complex emergency operations. Chambersburg Fire Department appreciates the opportunity to work with the Borough Water Department and strengthen interdepartmental cooperation to better serve our community.
