Over the last couple of days, Captain Chen has worked with on-duty crews to refresh on the equipment we carry on Tower 1 for rope rescues. Crews went through equipment and different setups we have, as well as setting up systems to discuss the types of situations we may run into.
Tower 1 is a unique piece of equipment that is not only set up to handle fire and EMS emergencies but also serves as the vehicle that carries most of the department's equipment for various rescue situations.
