Members of C Shift spent the afternoon reviewing and practicing a variety of forcible entry tactics to strengthen their skills for real-world incidents.
Crews trained with the Hydra-Ram and the conventional use of a set of irons, comparing the advantages of each tool and discussing the different types of force they provide during entry operations. Hands-on training like this helps ensure our firefighters are prepared to select the most effective technique based on the situation they encounter.
Continuous training keeps our members ready to respond safely and effectively when our community needs us most.
