Chambersburg Fire Department staff presented the Stop the Bleed program this morning to employees of Brechbill & Helman Construction during their annual safety meeting.
The program teaches participants how to recognize life-threatening bleeding and take immediate action to help control it until professional medical assistance arrives. These lifesaving skills can make a critical difference during an emergency, both in the workplace and in the community. Chambersburg Fire Department appreciates the opportunity to work with local businesses to promote safety, preparedness, and lifesaving education.
