Chambersburg Fire Department would like to congratulate FF/EMT Lardieri on successfully completing the department’s driver training program and earning his qualification to operate the department’s engines.
The process of becoming a qualified apparatus operator is a demanding one, requiring dedication, preparation, and countless hours of training. Before beginning the process, members must complete several required training courses. They then spend numerous hours behind the wheel, learning to safely drive and operate the apparatus under a variety of conditions. Upon completion of the training, members must successfully pass a written examination, a practical driving course, and an operational examination. FF/EMT Lardieri successfully completed all requirements and is now qualified to operate Chambersburg Fire Department’s engines.
