Members of D Shift visited Andrew Buchanan Elementary School today to spend time with students and staff while promoting fire safety and education.
Crews participated in a school fire drill before spending time discussing important fire safety topics with the students. The visit wrapped up with a tour of our fire apparatus, giving students the opportunity to learn about the tools and equipment our firefighters carry and how they are used to help our community. We appreciate the opportunity to connect with our local students and help build fire safety awareness at an early age. Thank you to the students and staff at Andrew Buchanan Elementary School for welcoming us!
