Andrew Buchanan Landing Zone

Engine 1-2 and Ambulance 1-7 responded to Andrew Buchanan Elementary School to establish a landing zone for an incoming medical helicopter. The landing zone was utilized while the helipad at Wellspan Chambersburg Hospital was occupied, providing an alternate location for the helicopter to safely land. Crew set up a safe area for LifeNet 8-1, along with providing transport of staff and the patient from the hospital to the helicopter.
