D Shift conducts Confined Space Training

Members of D Shift conducted hands-on training focused on confined space rescue operations. Members practiced lowering a rescuer into a confined space and explored multiple methods for safely removing victims. The training included both entry and non-entry rescue techniques, allowing members to work through different rescue scenarios and methods. Members also practiced establishing high points using both a tripod system and the aerial ladder, reinforcing the importance of having multiple options available when operating in challenging environments. We would like to thank the Borough of Chambersburg Waste Water Dept for allowing us to utilize a manhole for this valuable hands-on training opportunity.
