Oven fire reported out on 2nd Street

Members at McKinley Street fire station were alerted by a knock at the door for an oven fire on the 500 block of South 2nd Street. Engine 1-2 called it in over the radio as they were arriving with normal conditions from the outside. The crew from Engine 1-2 investigated and found a small fire that was out inside the oven. No additional fire department services were needed, and one occupant was evaluated by EMS. Crews operated for 15 minutes before being placed in service by Command 1(Chief Ulrich).
