CFD units and mutual aid were sent to the 800 block of Stouffer Avenue for a porch fire. Shortly after dispatch, Asst. Chief 49 (Franklin Fire Co) was on scene confirming dispatch and advised a significant fire to the rear of the home. Initial crews from CFD, Franklin Fire Co., and New Franklin Fire advanced two hose lines to attack the fire. Duty 1(Capt Martin) arrived and assumed Command 1. Crews on the exterior controlled the bulk of the fire, while crews inside contained areas that were beginning to extend into the home. Additional mutual aid units arrived and assisted with overhaul operations. Tower 1 operated on the roof, completing ventilation and ensuring no extension. Crews from Engine 1-1 and Ambulance 1-7 operated inside, opening up to ensure no additional hot spots were found.  Crews operated for 2 hours before Command 1 released units.
