Around 11 p.m. a phone call to the station reported a tractor trailer leaking fuel on Wayne Avenue.
Engine 1-1 responded to investigate and found that the spill ran from the Interstate off ramp, north on Wayne Avenue, then a turn around on Wayne Avenue, and south again on
the Interstate. PennDot and County Hazmat assisted CFD on the scene. Crews cleared after several hours of sand placement and drainage control. We would like to thank the fire
police agencies that assisted on the scene for the long duration.
