Fire Department units were alerted around 1230 hrs for a reported vehicle accident with entrapment at the intersection of Norland Avenue and 5th Avenue. Shortly after dispatch, units arrived in the area, finding no accident. As Franklin County 911 continued to receive calls, the accident was reported to be at 5th Avenue and Nelson Street. Crew redirected to that address, finding two vehicles in the roadway. Crews determined there was no entrappment, and all occupants did not need EMS. Crews assisted with clearing debris and redirecting traffic before clearing the scene.
