Community Risk Reduction

At the Chambersburg Fire Department, our mission goes beyond responding to emergencies — we work every day to prevent them. Through our Community Risk Reduction (CRR) initiatives, we identify local hazards, educate the public, and implement proactive strategies to keep our community safe.

From fire safety education and smoke alarm installations to emergency preparedness programs and code enforcement, CRR is at the heart of our commitment to protecting lives and property. Together, we can reduce risk and build a safer Chambersburg for Everyone.
