Chambersburg Units were alerted for a vehicle accident with entrapment. Communications advised enroute of a two vehicle accident with one person trapped. Asst. Chief 1 arrived and found two autos in the middle of the roadway. One patient was found to be confined in one vehicle. Engine 1-1 and Tower 1 arrived and bagan stabilizing the vehicle. Crews utilized the hydraulic tools of Tower 1 and removed the drivers door within 3 minutes of arrival. Crews removed the patient and Ambulance 1-8 crew began care. Crews assisted with debris removal and blocking of the scene. Units operated for about 40 minutes before clearing.
