Tower 1, Chief 1 and Deputy Chief 1 responded as part of the 1st alarm assignment to Company 9's first due for a reported house fire in the 1400 block of Path Valley Road. Tower 1 arrived as the first due truck and began to place ladders and prepare to ventilate the roof. Chief 1 was assigned fire attack with Company 9 and 18's crews. Crews encountered large volumes of fire throughout the house. Crews assisted with various other tasks throughout the 3 1/2 hrs they operated on scene.
