Single vehicle accident takes out traffic lights on Norland

Engine 1-1 and Ambulance 1-7 were sent to the 900 block of Norland Avenue for a vehicle accident. While units were responding, several traffic lights were out along Norland Avenue. Crews arrived, locating a single vehicle that had gone off the roadway and struck a light pole and transformer, causing the outage. Ambulance 1-7 crew checked on the occupants, while Engine 1-1 crew secured the vehicle and cleared debris. Crews operated for about 30 minutes, leaving the scene with CPD, Fire Police and Borough Electric.
