Just before 7:00 a.m., Engine 1-4, Tower 1, Ambulance 1-7, and Squad 41 were alerted
for an auto accident with entrapment at the intersection of Wayne Avenue and Cree Drive. Engine 1-4 arrived to find a single auto that struck multiple signs
and then rolled onto its side confining the driver. Tower 1 arrived and set up stabilization and began working on removing the patient. Within five minutes
after arrival, the Tower crew had removed the patient and turned care over to EMS. Chief 1 placed squad 41 in service at this time. Crews remained on scene
for around 30 minutes.
