Engine 1-1 and Ambulance 1-7 responded to the area of 454 Norland Avenue
for a reported auto into a pole just after 10 p.m. Crews arrived to find a pole that was sheared off and one occupant self-extricated. The roadway was closed
as one patient was evaluated. Engine 1-1 remained on scene for over an hour and turned the scene over to the Borough Electric department.
