Several members of the Chambersburg Fire Department were recently recognized with EMS awards presented by the Emergency Health Service Federation. These awards vary between EMT years of service, cardiac arrest saves, and delivering a baby.
Fire Chief Dustin Ulrich and Captain Randall Pryor were presented with their 25-year EMS award. This award is presented to individuals who have had their EMT certification for 25 years.
Captain Pat Martin and Firefighter/EMT's Tony Albright, Jamie Birgfled, Seth Robinson, Bryce Summers, Matthew Birgfeld, and Trever O'Donnell were recognized for Clinical Save Awards. Each of these members was involved in several different incidents that resulted in the successful resuscitation of a patient from a cardiac arrest.
Finally, Firefighter Bryce Summers and Joe Malandruccolo were present with their Prehospital Delivery Award. Both members assisted a patient with the delivery of a baby before arrival at the hospital.
Congratulations to all of you for your continued hard work and dedication to the department and top-notch care to the community.
