Engine 1-1 and Ambulance 1-8 were alerted to the Memorial Square just before 3 AM for a Vehicle Accident. Shortly after responding, Franklin County 911 upgraded the accident to possible entrapment, bringing Tower 1 and Squad 41. Crews arrived finding a single vehicle that had struck the barricades of the fountain, sending the vehicle into the fountain. Crews from Engine 1-1 and Tower 1 assisted with removing the patient and Ambulance 1-8 handled patient care. Engine 1-1 and Tower 1 remained on scene for an extended period of time, assisting with the removal of the vehicle from the fountain. Chief 1 placed them in service after being on scene for 2 hours.
