Chambersburg Fire Department was gracious enough to be awarded a grant through the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Act 10 EMS grant. This grant allowed the department to obtain 2 LUCAS devices. These devices act as another set of hands for our crews when CPR is needed. These devices provide continuous and adequate chest compressions to the patient to give the best chance of survival as possible.
