The house fire assignment was dispatched at 4:00 p.m. to 606 Kraiss Avenue sending CFD and surrounding departments
to the scene. Engine 1-4 and Engine 17-1 arrived simultaneously to find a fire under an attached deck of the home. Power was secured and Command 1 (Chief 1) downgraded the assignment to
Company 1 and 17-1. Crews remained on scene for around one hour.
