CFD was dispatched at 1:14 a.m. as mutual aid to New Franklin FD's first due, 2656 Falling Spring Road, for a reported house fire with people trapped. Assistant Chief 7 arrived to find a single family dwelling with fire showing. CFD Engine 1-4 crew arrived first and was assigned to fire attack along with Chief 1. Crews quickly extinguished the fire as well as conducted a primary search. After extensive overhaul, crews cleared the scene after three hours. All occupants made it out of the residence prior to fire department arrival.
