Crews handle vehicle fire on Reservoir Street

Both CFD engines were dispatched to the 600 block of Reservoir Street for a vehicle fire. Engine 1-1 arrived, found fire in the engine compartment of a passenger car, and deployed a hoseline to extinguish it. The crew from Engine 1-1 was able to quickly bring the fire under control, placing Engine 1-2 in service. The crew wet down the area and made sure no involvement through any other parts of the vehicle. Engine 1-1 operated on scene for about 20 minutes.
