Crews extricate one from vehicle into building

CFD crews and Wellspan EMS units responded to Queen Street and Main Street for a two vehicle accident with reports of one person trapped. Crews arrived to find two vehicles, with one into a building. Crews from Engine 1-1 and Tower 1 stabilized the vehicle and began extrication. Cres were able to remove the occupant within 6 minutes of arrival on scene. Patient was handed over to Wellspan EMS crew for treatment. Crews began to assess the building and damage done to it. A Borough Building Inspector was requested to the scene to assess the building. Crew remained on scene for a little over an hour assisting with removal of the vehicle and further assessment of the building. The scene was turned over to building representatives for securing the building.
