| Just before 2300 hrs, CFD units and mutual aid were sent to the 400 block of Cleveland Ave for smoke coming from a building. During dispatch, Engine 1-2 arrived on scene with smoke coming from all sides of the building. Remaining CFD units arrived and crews made entry into the building, locating the fire and quickly extinguishing it. Tower 1 crew accessed the roof and completed vertical ventilation. Mutual aid companies assisted with searches of the building, as well as salvage and overhaul operations. Crews operated for almost 3 hours before leaving the scene. |
