Fayetteville Fire Department was alerted shortly after 7:30 a.m. for a reported building fire at 1950 Lincoln Way East,
Burger King. This call alerted Tower 1 to the scene on the first alarm assignment. Chief 1 arrived shortly after dispatch to find a smoldering electrical line on the exterior of the building.
Tower 1 arrived with Engine 7-2, investigated for extension, and secured utilities. Command 7 (Chief 1) held Company 7 and Tower 1 until the power company could arrive. Units cleared shortly
after 8 a.m.
