Tower 1 and Engine 1-1 responded as part of the initial assignment for a house fire in the 8000 block of Edenville-Cheesetown Rd just after 1100 hrs. While en route, Chief 18 reported a column of smoke visible. First arriving units found fire throughout. Tower 1 arrived and proceeded back the lane, setting up on Side A. Engine 1-1 arrived and assisted with establishing a water supply. Tower 1 was utilized to flow water throughout the incident. Ambulance 1-8 was later dispatched to the scene to assist with assessing multiple patients. Crews operated for several hours bringing the fire under control. Tower 1 was the last to clear the scene from CFD and was available at 1439 hrs.
