Tower 1 was sent as part of the intial assignement to St. Thomas Township, to the 4500 block of Lincoln Way West for smoke inside a residence. A short time laster Engine 1-1 was added to the assignment for units that had not responded. Tower 1 arrived first beginning to investigate. Engine 1-1 was just behind them, arriving as the first due Engine, laying a supply line to the scene. Company 1 units found a stove fire that was contained to the stove itself. Crews removed the stove an ventilated the building. Crews operated for a little over 30 minutes before returning available.
