Electrical odor in a warehouse

CFD units responding to the 1100 block of Sheffler Dr for an odor investigation. Crews arrived on scene and met with employees advising of a strange odor coming from the server room. Crews located an overheated battery backup unit and removed it from the building. Another component was located that had malfunctioned and secured the power. Crews operated for 30 minutes before turning the scene back over to employees until someone could evaluate their components of the server room.
