Odor of Gas

CFD units were sent to the 400 block of South Main St for a report of an odor of gas in an apartment. Engine 1-2 arrived and laid from a hydrant to have a water supply. Tower 1 arrived and began to investigate. Engine 1-1 arrived and secured the water supply and began to investigate as well. Crews operated for a short time and with assistance by the Borough Gas Dept, located a gas leak in an appliance. The appliance was secured and Command 1 (Asst. Chief Myers) placed all units in service.
