Odor Investigation

Company 1 units were sent to the 100 block of South 3rd St for an investigation of an odor. Crews arrived and investigated the basement area. Occupants reported smelling gas after having an alarm go off in the basement. Crews found zero readings or odors present. Crews replaced batteries in the CO alarm and ensured proper operation before clearing the scene. Crews operated for about 20 minutes before clearing.
