Lincoln Way West Vehicle Accident

Engine 1-1 and Ambulance 1-7 were sent to the unit block of Lincoln Way West for a vehicle accident. Shortly after dispatch, units arrived to find a passenger car into the rear of a tractor trailer. Ambulance 1-7 handled patient care while Engine 1-1 crew stabilized the vehicle and cleared debris. Fire Police arrived and blocked the roadway off until CPD arrived and moved the vehicles off the roadway. Crews operated for about 30 minutes.
