Building Fire

CFD units and mutual aid were dispatched to the 600 block of Lincoln Way West for a building fire. Shortly after dispatch, Asst Chief 1 and Engine 1-1 arrived, finding smoke showing from Side A. Engine 1-1 crew advanced a handline in the front door to find fire in an office area. Squad 41 arrived and assisted with opening up along with Tower 1. Crews were able to make quick work of the fire and held Company 1, Station and Company 13. Crews checked for extension and cleared the building of smoke. Crews operated for over an hour before clearing the scene.
