Around 4:30 p.m., CFD and surrounding departments were alerted for a shed fire with possible extension into the house at the intersection of South Seventh and East
Catherine Streets. Crews arrived at 625 East Catherine Street to find a shed on fire with extension into a single family home and animals still inside. Crews positioned
lines and quickly extinguished the shed fire, as inside crews battled the fire in the bedrooms and attic. All animals are doing fine following their rescue. Units remained
on scene for two hours. |
