| Company 1 units were sent to the 1100 block of Lincoln Way East for a vehicle accident, with reports of a vehicle overturned and entrapment. Shortly after dispatch, Ambulance 1-8 arrived on scene confirming dispatch. Engine 1-1 and Tower 1 arrived and began stabilization of one vehicle for extrication. The patient was removed from the driver's side and turned over to EMS. Air medical was requested due to the severity of injuries. One additional patient was transported by Penn State EMS. Command 1 (A/C Myers) placed Engine 1-2 and Tower 1 in service. Engine 1-1 remained on scene for about 4 hours, assisting Chambersburg Police with accident reconstruction. Once completed, Engine 1-1 crew assisted with debris removal before going available.
