Vehicle Fire

Both CFD Engine's were alerted to the 500 block of Gateway Ave for a vehicle fire. Chief 1 arrived with no visible smoke. Engine 1-1 crew and Asst. Chief 1 accessed the vehicle and found a smoke condition in the passenger compartment. Crews located a fire that started in the driver's seat due to an electrical malfunction. The fire had burnt itself out. Engine 1-1 crew wet the area down and confirmed no fire. Crews operated for about 30 minutes before clearing.
