CFD Responds to Building Fire in Mercersburg

| Tower 1 was alerted around 7:00 p.m. for an apartment building fire with reports of multiple people trapped at 10462 Lincoln Way West, Mercersburg Fire Department's first due. First reaching unit from St. Thomas Fire Department arrived to find multiple apartments on fire with reports that all individuals self-rescued prior to fire department arrival. Tower 1 was the fourth unit on scene and went to work opening up the backside of the building. Crews remained on the scene for around 2.5 hours. |
