CFD Responds to Broad Street Laundromat

| At 7:05 a.m., the box alarm sounded for a business fire at 783 Broad Street at the laundromat. Crews arrived to find a washing machine with smoke showing but no fire visible. Command (Captain Pryor) held the box with Company 1 and placed the remainder in service. Engine 1-1 and Tower 1 secured the unit and waited for maintenance to arrive on scene. Crews cleared in under 20 minutes. |
