| Just before shift change Engine 1-4 was alerted for an Outside Investigation at the intersection of Greene Meadow Lane and Progress Road. Communications reported a trash fire near a car and dumpster. Prior to arriving on scene additional 911 calls reported the vehicle now on fire. Engine 1-1 was added to the call. engine 1-4 arrived, finding a fire to the rear of the vehicle. Ambulance 1-7 arrived and assisted with the fire attack. Crews quickly extinguished the fire and remained on scene for about an hour assisting CPD with their investigation. (Photos by Brian Denham) |
