| Shortly after 1030 PM units from Co. 9 were sent to Letzburg Rd for a Landfill on fire. Co. 9 units arrived, finding about a 100 foot by 200 foot area involved. Engine 1-1 was special requested to assist due to its foam capabilities. Engine 1-1 responded with 5 and on arrival was placed in position to attack the fire. Crews utilized the deck gun and a handline to assist with extinguishing the fire and laying a blanket of foam on the area. CFD crews operated for just under 4 hours until released by Command 9.
