Chief Ulrich and Asst, Chief Myers spent the afternoon educating the staff of Brechbill & Helman Construction on Stop the Bleed in conjunction with their Safety Meeting. The staff enjoyed the training and it provided the Fire Department to work with a local business and ensure steps are taken to be prepared for an emergency.
Chambersburg Fire Department offers Stop the Bleed training to anyone. Any organizations, businesses or citizens with an interest in taking a Stop the Bleed class can contact Asst. Chief Ben Myers at bmyers@chambersburgpa,gov or 717-251-2476 to set up a class. The CFD has plans to hold a monthly Stop the Bleed class, available to the public. Future dates will be posted on our website. There is no cost for this course.
