| Shortly before traffic surrounded the high school, a serious accident was reported by Ambulance 1-9.
As the ambulance crew was transporting a patient to the hospital, they came across a multi-victim accident on the 600 block of Stanley Avenue. The ambulance driver surveyed
the scene and found a vehicle had struck another auto in the intersection, went out of control through a yard striking two pedestrians, and then finally stopped back on the road.
The accident assignment was issued, and as units arrived, a total of four patients were treated and transported plus one transport refusal. Engine 1-4 remained on scene and
assisted CPD for approximately one hour.
