| CFD and surrounding departments were alerted to 305 Channing Drive for a reported stove fire. Engine 1-4, Tower 1, and Engine 1-1 arrived to find a middle of the row townhome with smoke conditions in the residence. CFD crews stretched a line and found that prior to the fire department arrival, there was an active fire on the stove that had extended into the cabinetry of the kitchen. The occupant of the resident used a fire extinguisher which extinguished the fire. Command (DC 1) held Company 1 units only to remove the stove and smoke from the residence. All units went in service around 6:40 pm. |
