Engine 1-1 and Ambulance 1-8 were sent to Chambers Street for a reported vehicle accident with fire. With the reports of fire, Tower 1 added to the call to assist. Engine 1-1 arrived finding a single vehicle in the road with front end damage and fire coming from the patient compartment. Crews from Engine 1-1 and Tower 1 advanced a bumper line to extinguish the fire while Ambulance 1-8 evaluated the occupant. Crews continued to assist on scene with securing the vehicle and clearing debris. Crews operated for a little over 30 minutes before clearing the scene.
