Vehicle accident stops Orchard Dr traffic

Engine 1-2 and Ambulance 1-8 were sent just after 1400 hrs to the intersection of Orchard Drive and Wayne Ave for a vehicle accident. Ambulance 1-8 arrived and found two vehicles, on Orchard Dr., blocking traffic. Engine 1-2 arrived and blocked traffic as Ambulance 1-8 evaluated all the occupants. Crews contained fluids and cleared debris. Units remained on scene with CPD until towing arrived and were able to clear the vehicles from the roadway and open the roadway up. Crews had both lanes of Orchard Dr blocked for about 20 minutes.
