Reported Apartment fire

Just after 1800 hrs, CFD units and mutual aid were sent to the 100 block of South Fourth St, for a reported apartment fire with entrapment. While enroute Communications advised of multiple calls reporting a fire in an upstairs apartment with people trapped. Engine 1-1 arrived on scene finding a two story apartment building with normal conditions. Crews investigated and found food on the stove in an upstairs apartment with a burn victim. Crews cleared smoke from the apartment and ensured no fire while providing care to the patient. Crews operated for an hour and a half before clearing the scene.
